In the following, you will find an overview of the legal bases of the GDPR on which we process personal data. Please note that, in addition to the provisions of the GDPR, national data protection regulations may apply in your or our country of residence. If more specific legal bases are applicable in individual cases, we will inform you in the privacy policy.
In addition to the GDPR data protection regulations, national data protection regulations apply in Austria. This includes in particular the Federal Act on the Protection of Natural Persons in the Processing of Personal Data (Data Protection Act – DSG). The Data Protection Act in particular contains special provisions on the right to information, the right to rectification or deletion, the processing of special categories of personal data, processing for other purposes, and transmission, as well as automated decision-making in individual cases.
According to legal requirements, considering the state of the art, the implementation costs, and the nature, scope, circumstances, and purposes of the processing as well as the different likelihood and severity of the risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons, we implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk.
These measures include, in particular, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data by controlling physical and electronic access to the data, as well as access, input, disclosure, ensuring availability, and separation of the data. Furthermore, we have established procedures to ensure the enjoyment of data subject rights, deletion of data, and response to data compromise. Additionally, we take into account the protection of personal data during the development or selection of hardware, software, and procedures, according to the principle of data protection through technology design and privacy-friendly default settings.
TLS Encryption (https): To protect the data you transmit via our online offer, we use TLS encryption. You can recognize such encrypted connections by the prefix https:// in the address line of your browser.
During our processing of personal data, it may happen that the data is transmitted to other places, companies, legally independent organizational units, or persons, or disclosed to them. Recipients of this data may include, for example, service providers tasked with IT duties or providers of services and content that are integrated into a website. In such cases, we observe legal requirements and conclude corresponding contracts or agreements, which serve to protect your data, with the recipients of your data.
